About Us
The Ahmed Kathrada Sports Medicine Centre opened its doors for business on the 17th of March 2017. The centre was the brainchild of Yasmeen Omar, a physiotherapist with over twenty two years industry experience, who identified the need for such a service in the south of Johannesburg. The aim of the centre is to provide evidence based holistic services to avid sportsmen and women of varying fitness levels, as well as the general public. The Centre is equipped with state of the art technology as well as a spacious gym. The centre is conveniently located on the ground floor at the Ahmed Kathrada Private Hospital, with secure parking available adjacent to the centre. The practice is contracted to medical aids and Workmen’s Compensation(WCA).
